Event details

Thursday 19 June 2025 - 12:00pm to 4:00pm
Description
Join us for this interactive workshop to explore the ways of building a more sustainable human service system for refugees in the UK.
Workshop background
In this era of polycrisis and refugee calamity, the need for multi-stakeholder, cross-sectoral attention and collaboration is more urgent than ever. The human service system is defined as a network of organisations, programmes, and professionals that address individuals and communities needs and improve their wellbeing and quality of life (Wilson, 2021). The workshop draws on multi-perspective research into Ukrainian refugees entering the UK under government schemes.
This event is aimed at theoretical development and supporting public policies.
Purpose of the workshop
Exchange ideas, knowledge and expertise around value creation for the refugee
service landscape in the UK.
Network, share proofs of principle and explore opportunities for collaborative
research and funding bids.
